Hyundai E&C Holds 2025 H-Leaders CEO Seminar

Hyundai E&C is reinforcing its mutual growth framework to support the stable and sustainable growth of outstanding partner companies.

On Tuesday, November 11th, Hyundai E&C held the 2025 H-Leaders CEO Seminar at the Grand Hyatt Seoul hotel in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, with approximately 270 attendees, including CEO Lee Han-woo, key executives, and representatives from partner companies.

The H-Leaders CEO Seminar is an annual event held to strengthen the organic and cooperative relationship between Hyundai E&C and its partners and to support the realization of high value-added business success and improved competitiveness. This year's event, marking its 14th anniversary, was attended by representatives from 200 outstanding partner companies, designated as ‘H-Leaders,’ and 42 companies that received the highest evaluations in their respective categories, designated as ‘H-Prime Leaders.’ Representatives of the ‘H-Prime Leaders’ were presented with certificates and appointment plaques. Additionally, eight outstanding companies that demonstrated remarkable achievements in safety, quality, project scheduling, cooperation, and technology were awarded trophies and prize money, as well as additional incentives such as bonus points in their comprehensive evaluations and exemptions from bidding restrictions.

‘H-Leaders’ and ‘H-Prime Leaders’ are part of Hyundai E&C’s system for selecting outstanding partner companies, chosen from among approximately 2,000 partners through a combination of quarterly on-site evaluations and annual head office evaluations. Outstanding partners whose capabilities have been proven through detailed evaluations in each category are granted a variety of incentives, including expanded bidding opportunities and strategic procurement.

During the seminar, Hyundai E&C shared detailed information on the status of its business, safety and health management strategies, and procurement policies, and engaged in various discussions with its partners on response measures to overcome uncertain market conditions and on ways to strengthen each company's capabilities. More specifically, a special lecture by Noh Byung-cheon, head of the Korea Institute for Strategic Leadership, on Admiral Yi Sun-sin, who demonstrated outstanding strategy and leadership in times of crisis, was highly acclaimed by the attendees.

In his welcoming address, Hyundai E&C’s new CEO, Lee Han-woo, stated, “As the success of the construction industry is determined on-site, it is crucial to enhance our real-world competitiveness in the field.” He added, “Let’s create win-win results by ensuring that both Hyundai E&C and our partners remain true to our basic principles, share a wide range of on-site improvement ideas, and strengthen our culture of cooperation and communication.”

Hyundai E&C is also implementing a variety of policies, including ▲the operation of an industry-largest Mutual Growth Fund of approximately KRW 166 billion to support the liquidity of partner companies, ▲the provision of Competitiveness Enhancement Consulting to strengthen the fundamental capabilities of its partners, ▲a Reward and Safety Guidance Support system to enhance on-site safety and quality, and ▲the hosting of a Technology Expo, a platform for exchanging innovative construction technologies. In particular, starting this year, Hyundai E&C plans to further expand close-knit communication by strengthening partnerships with suppliers through regular site visits and the establishment of a permanent technology suggestion center.

Based on these efforts, the highest rating in the Mutual Growth Index Evaluation published by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership was bestowed upon Hyundai E&C last year, for the sixth consecutive year.
