Hyundai E&C has secured the contract for the Apgujeong District 3 Reconstruction Project. Hyundai E&C was officially selected as the contractor at the general meeting held on the 25th to select the contractor for the Apgujeong District 3 Reconstruction Project. Of the 3,988 association members, 2,621 attended the meeting, and Hyundai E&C received 2,332 votes in favor, achieving an overwhelming approval rate of 89%.

The Apgujeong District 3 Reconstruction Project involves the reconstruction of Hyundai Apartments Phases 1-7, 10, 13, and 14, as well as Daelim Villat, in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. With a total construction cost of KRW 5.56 trillion, it is the largest single urban reconstruction project to date. The project is slated to be developed into a mega residential complex with 5,175 units and community facilities, ranging from seven basement levels to up to 65 stories above ground.

Following its successful bid for Apgujeong District 2 last year, Hyundai E&C has now secured the contract for Apgujeong District 3, continuing the legacy of 『Apgujeong Hyundai』. Having ushered in the Apgujeong era alongside the development of Gangnam in the 1970s, Hyundai E&C has once again been selected as the contractor after half a century. Under the vision “OWN THE ONE, the One and Only Unchanging Value,” the company plans to revitalize 『Apgujeong Hyundai』 as a new standard for future residential living.

With this contract, Hyundai E&C has recorded cumulative orders of KRW 6.65 trillion in the urban reconstruction and redevelopment sector in 2026. To achieve its goal of securing more than KRW 12 trillion in orders, as planned at the beginning of the year, and maintaining the top position in orders for the eighth consecutive year, the company plans to continue implementing a selective bidding strategy focused on key project sites.

A Hyundai E&C official stated, "The Apgujeong District 3 project serves as a bridge connecting the past and future of 『Apgujeong Hyundai』," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure the highest quality and create a high-end complex that leads the way in future residential culture."
